Happy Holidays - Exciting News!!

Wow, it is hard to believe that we are in the holiday season. This is a special season for so many people for so many different reasons. Whether you are Christian or Jewish, Muslim or African American, or even just enjoy celebrating the shopping season, this time of year brings out a mirth and merriment. Yet, often this time of year can bring out sorrow and mournful moments for others. It is both a time for celebration and contemplation. I have said that true romance is not just that magical moment of being swept off our feet, but rather is a tangled mess and involves hardship and struggle. Life is hard. This is what makes the beauty of life so precious.
In recognition of all that is special, all of the struggle, the romance, and the wonder found around the solstice, which I hope has blessed each of you, I wish all of my readers, their friends, and their families the best this season. I also take a moment to share a glimpse into what is precious in my life, my family. In honor of the gifts my children have given me over the years, I took the time this year to rewrite a story I have shared with them at the holidays, “Christmas Snows”. This story is now available to you, my readers. This whimsical children’s story is an early reader about two young children in their small-town home in rural Vermont. In this tragic yet heartwarming tale, they appear to lose their dream of Christmas to tragedy in their family. When trapped by a winter storm, they set out to save the holiday using youthful cunning and holiday spirit.
